Attendance Regularization allows your employees to correct their own attendance. If an employee finds a discrepancy in his Attendance data, he can raise a request to correct it, and on approval from his manager, the data gets corrected. This help document shows how you can provide multiple options for your employees to correct their attendance.

If an employee is absent, he gets a notification the next day to correct his attendance. If he was on a client visit, he can raise a regularization request to correct his attendance. But, you should create a regularization category called ‘Client Visit’ to allow your employees to apply for the same. Let me show you how you can do this.

Step 1: Create an Attendance Type called ‘Client Visit’

Step 2: Create a Regularization Category

Choose ‘Past’, if you want to allow your employees to apply for ‘Client Visits’ in the past.
Choose ‘Future’, if you want to allow your employees to apply for ‘Client Visits’ in the future.

The regularization Category is created!

Now, a new Regularization Category called ‘Client Visit’ is available to your employees. Let me show you how an employee can apply for a ‘Client Visit’.

At this point, the manager gets a request to approve the ‘Client Visit’.

On approval, the ‘Client Visit’ becomes part of the attendance.
